Take me out to the ball game!

Today was Mason's first baseball game. He was really looking forward to his trip to the real Wrigley Field. We had fun and he did great considering the game was during what normally would be nap time.

I'm afraid I spoke too soon last night about not feeling too terrible. The nausea hit hard last night and didn't let up until this afternoon. I'm feeling better now on the nausea front, but the tiredness is still hitting me. Trying to rest as much as I can between having fun with my boys.

Here's some pics from today.

Firefighter Monkey

Mason loves going to see Daddy at the fire station, and he also loves wearing his monkey costume from Halloween...so why not do both, right? This time Daddy let him play over in the admin building where the "old, old, firetruck" lives.

What did we do before we all had cameras on our phones?

I finally plugged my phone into my laptop and realized how many pics I haven't shared yet. Here are a few peeks at what's been up so far in 2012

Buried in the laundry basket under his foam blocks
We've had a lot of snow this year. This is at the fire station.
We've gotten more since this was taken.

Mason loves to play games. This one we found
at Christmas is perfect for his age.

Beer & Barley Wine Fest with Sarah

Cameron's actually smiling!

Just had to do it

January was so cold, we had to play inside a lot.
Thank goodness for legos!

Happy little man

This is what happens when he picks out his own clothes.
YIKES!

More goofing around at Nana's house

Underwear and rain boots. What a fashion statement.

New Year's Fun

Our new year's weekend was a lot of fun. Todd and I headed up to my family's cabin in Nancy Lake with our two dogs, followed by Cameron, Sarah and their two dogs. Yep, you read that right, no kids!

It was pretty (ok, really) cold up there, but I had fun staying in and relaxing. We played scattegories and cranium, and watched some Will Farrell classics. Of course, I took my Kindle and read a lot, too. Todd had fun finding some incredibly hideous clothes to model for us, including a shirt that no one has any idea what it means. Pretty sure the best quote of the weekend, though, was while we were playing Cranium. It was a clue that had to be drawn, the word was "house husband" and as Todd was drawing it, Sarah blurts out "BROOMING PENIS"!

You know you're jealous of our awesomeness

Poor Jake. He's such a laid back guy, it's easy to torture him

Jake thinking he was tiny enough to fit into
Duncan's little dog bed.

Beautiful, but really cold

Awesome golf shirt Todd found. I helped complete this
look with the hat.

Mini table tennis....across the cabin

You'd never know from this picture, but he was
the only sober one in the bunch

Broken glasses fixed just in time for midnight

Poor Duncan, he has no real snout to speak of so
holding glasses on his head was not so easy

And Jakers again, wondering when we were going
to just go to bed and leave him alone

Here's the shirt no one knows what it means. "Final Entry"

You just had to be there.

Happy #5!

My nephew, Landon, turned 5 this month. We met up at the bowling alley and then headed to Nana's house for cake and presents. I think he had a great time, and so did Mason. They are such good buddies, it's fun to see them grow up together.

Present opening is always a group activity with these two

They move to fast, it's hard to get everything in focus!

Spiderman cupcakes...made by Nana, of course

Nana and Papa got Landon a huge box full of costumes and
dress up stuff. They had fun trying them all on.
